About Mishima Dojo & Contact
Mishima Dojo is an unofficial, fan-made practice tool built and run by an individual developer who plays Tekken.
What is Mishima Dojo?
Mishima Dojo (미시마 도장, 三島道場) is a free browser tool for practising the core inputs of the Mishima-style characters in Tekken: the EWGF (f,N,d,d/f+2), the wave dash (6N23 6 N …), the Korean backdash (414 N …), the wave-cancel while-standing upper and the d/f+2 → EWGF link. There is nothing to install and no sign-up. It works with a keyboard, a gamepad or a leverless (hitbox) controller, and phones get on-screen touch buttons.
Besides unlimited Free practice and the practice modes (wave, wave-cancel upper, d/f+2 link, dummy rush, backdash and more), Challenge Mode tests you under fixed conditions:
- Wave 10s: how many crouch dashes you chain in ten seconds, and how fast
- Dummy Rush 30s: hit high, mid and low dummies with EWGF, f,f+2 and hell sweep for points
- Backdash 10s: distance covered in ten seconds, and your cancel timing
Pick a nickname and your challenge results go on the leaderboards, so you can compare with other players. Every result card can be saved as an image and shared, and the top 10 runs on each leaderboard can be watched as replays with their input log.
Why it exists
You cannot play a Mishima without the EWGF and the wave dash, but practising them means booting the game, entering training mode and checking one attempt at a time. When an attempt fails, you are usually left with a vague “too late” feeling: it is hard to tell how many milliseconds late the button was, or which input broke the wave.
So this tool lets you warm up with just a keyboard, without the game, and names the cause of every failure. When an EWGF comes out as a plain wind god fist, it shows how many ms late the button was; when a wave breaks, it tells you whether it was a “Missing cancel 6” or a “Missing start 6”. Results over many attempts are collected into a histogram and a speed chart, so you can see which way your mistakes lean.
How judging works, and its limits
Every judgment on Mishima Dojo is based only on when and in what order you pressed things. The site does not connect to the game or read its screen, and it does not act as a macro or a cheat.
- Just-frame inputs such as the EWGF are judged by placing each input time on a shared 60Hz grid and checking whether they land in the same cell. The details are in Frames and Input Judging.
- A browser cannot see the game's frame timing, so inputs near a boundary can be judged differently from the game. Look at your success rate and error spread over many attempts rather than a single result.
- Backdash distance uses community measurements; the frame targets for the wave-cancel upper and the d/f+2 link are values the operator checked in the game. Some values are still assumptions and are labelled as such in the guides; they are corrected when better data comes in.
- The walking, dashing and backdash animation is for show only and never changes judging or records.
How the site is run
Everything is free. The domain, the server and new features are paid for by donations (Ko-fi and KakaoPay), and ads may be shown to help with running costs. There are no paid features and no records you have to pay for.
Practice records, settings and achievements stay in your browser. The server keeps only what the leaderboards, the Shoutbox and the visitor count need. What is stored where is explained in the privacy policy.
The operator may hide or delete manipulated records and inappropriate posts. Updates are listed by date under Announcements on the practice screen.
Trademarks and assets
Mishima Dojo is an unofficial fan-made tool and is not affiliated with the game's publisher. TEKKEN is a trademark of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. The character art in the practice view and the dojo background were made by the operator. The portraits on the character select button and the character and move names come from the official game so each character is easy to recognize; they belong to Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. Move names and notation in the guides follow what players commonly use.
The operator
Mishima Dojo is built and run by master_shin, an individual developer who plays Tekken. It first went public in September 2026 and has since added Mist Step EWGF (f,N,d/f+2), backdash, wave-cancel upper and d/f+2 link practice, as well as English and Japanese screens. Input breakdown videos go up on the operator's YouTube channel.

Including the following helps a quick answer:
- Judging issues: your input device (keyboard, pad, stick, …), browser and practice mode, and if possible a screenshot that shows the input history
- Deleting records or posts: your nickname and the record or post in question. You can also delete your own leaderboard entry with the delete button on your row.
- Guide errors: the page address and what is wrong
Quick comments and questions are also welcome in the Shoutbox on the practice screen. The site is run by one person, so replies may take a few days.
